Pretty and rude in equal measure, 'Pretty Rude' is inspired by the work of the greatest Penmen of the 18th century, who pushed formal scripts and flourishing techniques to new levels of sophistication. The sentiment expressed, and the tension between the medium and the message make complete sense in a world of uncertainty and conflict.

Gold Ink on Black Colourplan Paper, 540gsm. These mini-prints measure 175 mm x 112 mm (approximately 6.9 X 4.4 inches.) and have been exquisitely die-stamped by hand in gold ink in London. This work is a limited edition of 130, initialled and numbered by the artist.
