'Lion' is a small original piece of art, a modern take on a Burgundian Heraldic Lion.

It was produced with eight layers of 23ct Loose Leaf Latin Gold in raised gilding, the most luscious, beautiful and challenging Medieval gilding technique. Only a handful of people in the UK can produce raised gilding at this level. The gilded area measures approximately 65 x 65 mm (2.6 inches x 2.6 inches). The paper used is white Acquarello Watercolour Paper, 300gsm, measuring 190 x 135 mm (7.5 x 5.3 inches). Signed and dated by Seb Lester. Raised gilding my Michela Moriello.
