'Dove' is a small original piece of art. It depicts a Dove in Flames amalgamating two Heraldic Symbols: a Dove with an olive branch and a Phoenix. 'Dove' symbolises both the sorry state of a world in conflict and hope for a better future.

It was produced with eight layers of 23ct Loose Leaf Latin Gold in raised gilding, the most luscious, beautiful and challenging Medieval gilding technique. Only a handful of people in the UK can produce raised gilding at this level. The gilded area measures approximately 70 mm x 65 mm (2.8 x 2.6 inches). The paper used is white Acquarello Watercolour Paper, 300gsm, measuring 190 x 135 mm (7.5 x 5.3 inches). Signed and dated by Seb Lester. Raised gilding my Michela Moriello.
