'Carpe Diem' means 'Seize The Day' in Latin. I love the macro shots here showing the beauty of the gold ink and die-stamped printing process, an ancient printing technique that embosses the design from an engraved copper plate. This piece is exceptionally pretty in real life; I don't think anybody will be disappointed with it in the flesh. Die-Stamped Warm Gold Ink on 540 gsm Frost White Colorplan Paper. This mini-print measures 175 mm X 105 mm (approximately 6.9 X 4.1 inches.) Edition of 130, initialled & numbered by the artist. Please note these prints are handmade by one of the best printers in the UK. I have pushed this beautiful printing technique to the absolute limit. If you look very closely, you'll notice that slight imperfections are part of the charm of this artwork. I am delighted with the results, each print is unique, but if you're looking for perfect printing, something else might be for you.
