'Form Follows Function' is a classic Modernist edict, suggesting that the form of a design should be determined by its function rather than being driven by aesthetics or arbitrary choices. With this mindset, decorative elements like flourishing and ornamental details are perceived as positively vulgar and bourgeois. I thought it would be fun and playful to articulate the words with the most non-modernist approach, attempting to create something enduringly beautiful in the process. Full details in my shop.
